[LV] Šī gada (2023.) sākumā Latgalē tapis jauns dabas tūrisma objekts - laipu taka un skatu platforma Pelēča ezera purvā, kas atrodas starp Preiļiem un Špoģiem. Pirms tūrisma objekta izveidošanas, dabas lieguma teritorijā pirms tam arī veikta biotopa kopšanas pasākumi - purvs laika gaitā bija pamatīgi aizaudzis un pakāpeniski pārvērtās par mežu - novākts apaugums, lai atjaunotu purva veģetāciju.
Jaunā pastaigu taka gan ir tikai 200 metru gara, kuras galā atrodas 3,5 metru augsta skatu platforma (ar jumtu, līdz ar to varētu saukt arī par skatu tornīti). Lai arī taka ir īsa un tornītis nav augsts, skaisti un ainaviski skati šeit paveras katrā gada laikā. Takas sākumā pievērs arī uzmanību informatīvajiem stendiem, kuri vēstī par šeit sastopamām retām un īpašām augu un dzīvnieku sugām.
[EN] At the beginning of this year (2023), a new nature tourism site was established in Latgale - a boardwalk and view platform in the Pelēča Lake bog, located between Preiļi and Špoģi. Prior to the establishment of this place, habitat management activities were conducted in the nature reserve (the bog had become overgrown over time and gradually transformed into a forest) with vegetation removed to restore the bog's flora.
The new walking trail is only 200 meters long, culminating in a 3.5-meter-high view platform (with a roof, thus it could also be called as a watch tower). Despite the short length of the trail and the modest height of the tower, beautiful and scenic views unfold here throughout the year. At the beginning of the trail, pay attention to informational stands that provide info about the rare and special plant and animal species found here.
