Grandpa Vicky says:
Givat Hamtitzim(Oxalis hill) was once called Givat Hakalaniot (Anemones hill). When we were little the hill was full of red anemones. There were also ditches because there was a guard position against the enemy on the hill. That's why our street is called A'emda (the position) street.
There is also an old and abandoned packing house on the hill. The packing house was built about thirty years ago for the packing of flowers by Shuka Taz. After that Arle Osishkin took care of it, then I (Grandpa Vicky) for a few years. For twenty years the warehouse has been abandoned and used for children's games and graffiti paintings.
