המטמון הזה הוא לא הומז' למטמין ותיק אלה הערצה עצומה לאומץ וקור רוחה של האחת והיחידה הלא היא רחל אדרי הידועה יותר בתור "רחל עוגיות".
קצת רקע לאילו מבינכם שטרם יודעים. ב 07/10/2023 ארגון הטרור חמאס פתח במלחמה עם מדינת ישראל. אירוע הפתיחה היה בפריצת גדר הגבול עם עזה השתלטות על יישובי עוטף עזה תוך כדאי רציחה וחטיפה של אזרחים (תינוקות, ילדים, זקנים, נשים וגברים).
קבוצה אחת של טרוריסטים הגיע אל העיר אופקים ושם אחרי מסע הרג ברחבי הישוב קבוצה של חמישה מחבלי חמאס (הוא דע"ש) לקחו בשבי את רחל אדרי ובעלה.
תחת קור רוח והעובדה שרחל ידעה ערבית היא הצליחה להבין ולהרגיע את המחבלים תוך כדאי שהיא דואגת להם למזון (קפה ועוגיות) ואף חובשת את אחד המחבלים.
לאחר כ 19 שעות הצליח כוח ימ"ם לשחרר את רחל ובעלה כאשר רחל אפילו מצליחה תוך כדי האירוע להעביר מידע לכוחות על מספר המחבלים בדירה.
על גבורתך ואומץ ליבך אנו מודים לך.
בעקבות האירוע ניתן למצוא הרבה ממים של "רחל עוגיות" ובנוסף ברחבי הארץ כמה אומני גרפיטי
הנציחו אותה.

This Cache is not a homage for a veteran geocacher but rather an enormous admiration for the bravery and cool-headed demeanor of the one and only Rachel Edri better known as "cookies Rachel" (CR)
Some background for those amongst you that don't know. On 07/10/2023 the terrorist organization known as HAMAS opened war on the state of Israel. The opening accord was breaching the border fence with Gaza and taking over the settlements surrounding Gaza while murdering and kidnaping civilians (babies, kids, the elderly, women and men). One such group of terrorists reached the town of Ofakim. There after a killing spree around the town five terrorists of Hamas (is ISIS) took captive in their home, Rachel Edri and her husband. With great poise and the fact that Rachel can speak and understand Arabic she managed to calm down the terrorists while supplying for them food (coffee and cookies) and even bandaging one of them.
After 19 hours the swat team managed to successfully release Rachel and her husband while Rachel also assists during the event by managing to convey to the swat team the number of the terrorists inside the flat.
