This series has been placed to celebrate my brother's, MikeRouse, 60th birthday.
This is number 15 of a series of 18 and is about a 2hr circular walk set with the kind permission from the Badminton Estate. It can be a little muddy in places at times, especially after rain but it is relatively flat and easy walking.
It was my brother that introduced me to geocaching although, at the time, I didn't log many. These are the first geocaches I have placed. Part of his birthday celebrations will be to do this as a family walk so, hopefully, he'll find them all!
The cache is not at the posted coordinates, this is a plaque to mark the cottage location where those with the black plague in the 17th century were brought to die. To find the final cache location, go to the plaque and solve the following. Each letter should be given it's alphabetical value, i.e. A=1, B=2, C=3 ......
A = 6th line, 2nd word, 7th letter
B = 3rd line, 4th word, 7th letter
C = 1st line, 3rd word, 4th letter
D = 6th line, 2nd word, 1st letter
E = 5th line, 3rd word, 3rd letter
F = 4th line, 3rd word, 4th letter
Cache is at N51 32.ABC W002 17.DEF
Happy caching!
