Geocache Description:

THE SLAGA TWELVE DAYS OF CACHEMAS ARE BACK!!!

Here’s how it works: For 12 consecutive days beginning December 13th (Day 1), a new cache will be published and every day afterwards until December 24th. If you are able to First to Find, FTF, one of these daily caches, an FTF Cachemas Ornament will be in the container for you to keep. Once again, L Frank has designed a unique ornament that can be converted to a cache container for a future hide; or, you may keep it, your choice. PLEASE, if you get an FTF on one of the 12 days, do not go for another one until Bonus Day, let someone else have the fun.

This year, there will be a Bonus Cache on December 30th. EVERYONE is eligible to FTF the bonus whether or not you have FTFed a Cachemas hide. This cache can only be found by using all the codes found inside of the container of each daily cache. Keep these codes and use them to solve the location of the Bonus cache which will publish on December 30th. The method to solve the Bonus will be included in the final day Cache description, and I am promised, it is not a difficult solution. We are publishing the Bonus six days after Day 12 in order to give cachers extra time to acquire any codes they may need.

THE BONUS CACHE CONTAINS TWO LARGE PREMIUM GEOCOINS

AS WELL AS AN AWESOME ORNAMENT

This Geocache Description:
Heman is the largest park in University City and has amenities for sports enthusiasts, picnickers, families, and community groups. Now it has more amenities for geocachers as well.  Heman Park is open from 6 am to 1030 pm daily, so if you come after dark you may need a flashlight.  Permission to place was granted by the University City Parks and Recreation office.

This letterbox is NOT AT THE POSTED COORDINATES, but this is where you should start. Parking is nearby.

Eleven Pipers gathered way too early at the park to play a concert for a Cachemas Party later in the day. And since they had a lot of time on their hands, and were a prankish bunch, they decided to leave their guests instructions on how to get to the party sight, instead of just telling them where it was located. They charted a path and left these notes behind as clues. Will you find the pipers in time for the party?

We parked and noticed the nearby tennis courts, so you'll have to start at the posted coordinates and read Rules 11, 5, 4, and 3.  Then do this little math problem as your ticket to the show.  [(5+4+3) X 11 ÷ 3] ÷4 = Ticket # .

Now go to the paved path just south and proceed westerly to your first left turn.

Now march downhill then uphill till you have a choice to make in your path near a concrete drinking fountain.

If the fountain is green, take the path going northwest; if it’s black, turn onto the westward path; and if it’s red, veer onto the southeast path.

Soon you encounter another directional decision. One option seems a bit off-limits and is gravel...don't take that one, but instead, take the path next to it (not across from it).

Following this nice paved trail soon leads you across a drive, but on the other side you'll see a bridge. Proceed to the bridge.

At the bridge, if you see a 3 ton weight limit, go right on across to the other end of the bridge, but if you see 5 tons, hold your position.

From the chosen position, you will now go off trail almost due west following a tree line for about 450 ft.

Here you will catch sight of our first Pipe(r)!  He's standing tall and silver at the edge of the woods, behind some 'guest seating' and is accompanied westward by his fellow Pipe(r)s all in a row.

Now just count down all eleven of Pipe(r)s standing in a row, and you will arrive within 15 ft of the final 'show.'

Hint: Do you have a backstage pass?  If so congrats and welcome to the Cachemas party!
