DA: I Sagnlandet i Lejre formidles historie fra jægerstenalderen (ca. 12.500 - 4.000 f.Kr.) til landbotiden (1800-tallet). Man kan opleve en rekonstrueret boplads fra stenalderen, en jernalderlandsby med fire rekonstruerede gårde, en boplads fra vikingetiden og hytter fra tidligere perioder af jægerstenalderen, samt to rekonstruerede husmandssteder fra landbotiden.
I de forskellige arbejdende værksteder, kan man se vævning, keramik og smedning. Man kan også møde mange (levende) husdyr, der dels ligner jernalderens (nu uddøde) husdyrracer og dels 1800-tallets danske husdyrracer.
Kan man bare ikke få nok, er der også mulighed for at flytte ind i en kort periode og bo i jernalderlandsbyen, i landbohusene og på stenalderbopladsen.

ENG: In Sagnlandet in Lejre, history from the Stone Age (approx. 12,500-4,00 BC) to the rural period (19th century) is conveyed. You can experience a reconstructed settlement from the Stone Age, an Iron Age village with four reconstructed farms, a settlement from the Viking Age and huts from earlier periods of the Stone Age, as well as two reconstructed homesteads from the rural period.
In the various workshops, you can see weaving, ceramics and blacksmithing. You can also meet many farm animals (alive) that partly resemble Iron Age (extinct) livestock breeds and partly 19th-century Danish livestock breeds.
If you can’t get enough, there is the option of moving in for a short period and live in the Iron Age village, in the country houses and the Stone Age settlement.
