I'm nearly at the heart of the gaping hole in the geocaching map here. I suppose I thought it strange that there was an area absolutely devoid of caches so close to town - until I got here! Casings everywhere! My, if you wish to target practice, though, this is the spot! Panoramic views, vast openness, and deep gullies - could you ask for a better setup? Well, I'll give the sport shooter one more incentive to get up here. I give you the Suture Series. Let's patch this hole up, shall we?
UTVing and off-roading is welcome here, but drive around responsibly. I highly recommend an off-road vehicle, and always watch out for the sport shooters and the less-than-pleasant animals! Also, this stretch of the road is a dead-end. Park in the clearing, and take a short hike up the horse trail for your prize. Stay safe and have fun!
