Miittisarjan kymmenennen luukun takaa paljastuu mahdollisuus tulla tapaamaan ja tutustumaan muihin geokätköilijöihin sekä loistamaan jouluvalaistuna! Tule Marttilaan höpöttelemään ja tsekkaamaan geokollegoidesi mahdollinen jouluvalaistus. Nykyään kun on käteviä pattereilla toimivia LEDivaloketjuja, niin mikäs sen kätevämpää kuin valaista niillä sähköttömiä tiloja kuten mökkejä tai telttoja... tai i t s e ä s i! Jos haluat vähän hupsutella, kerää kotiLEDikoristeesi, pue ne päällesi ja tule valaisemaan pimeää joulukuun iltaa!
Tämä tapahtuma on osa geokätköilijöiden miitti-Joulukalenteria. Koska joulukuu tuntuu olevan välillä kovinkin kiireistä aikaa, niin nyt on hyvä aika pysähtyä ja hengähtää rupattelemaan hetkiseksi geokolleegojen kanssa. Tapahtumia järjestetään ympäri pääkaupunkiseutua, joten toivomme, että mahdollisimman monella on mahdollisuus osallistua johonkin järjestetyistä tapahtumista.
Jos pidät jouluvaloista ja -koristeista, niin miitin jälkeen voit käydä kävelemässä Marttilaa ympäri. Paikallinen omakotialue järjestää Marttilan joulukylän eli valaisee ja kuvittaa talojaan/pihojaan jouluaiheisesti. Tänä vuonna talot on valaistu 1.12.-6.1. ja mukana on melkein 50 taloa.

Welcome to Marttila to open the tenth flap of the advent calendar!
Behind the tenth flap, you have the opportunity to come and meet other cachers, as well as shine brightly with Christmas lights. Come to Marttila to chat and check out the possible Christmas lights your geocolleagues are wearing. Nowadays, with convenient battery-operated LED light strings, what could be handier than illuminating electric-free places such as cottages or tents... or yourself! If you want to goof around a bit, grab your home LED decorations, wear them, and come and light up the dark December evening.
This event is part of the geocachers event Advent Calendar. Because December seems to be a somewhat busy time for everyone, we wanted to arrange for everyone some time to stop and take a break to chat with your fellow geocachers. The events are held all around the Helsinki metropolitan area so we hope that everyone who’s interested has a chance to join us at some point.
If you enjoy Christmas lights and decorations, after the event, you can go and see the Christmas lights of Marttila. The local residential area illuminates and decorates houses with Christmas themes. This year the houses will be lit from December 1st to January 6th.
