This is a quick and easy multi-cache designed to introduce you to a delightful park. It's a convenient place to take a break and stretch your legs on the way to or from the coast. The coordinates take you to a Pavilion in one corner of the park, here you will have to do a little math. First you will need to find three numbers.
The numbers:
- There are squirrels on one of the posts of the pavilion to the left (west) of the cache. How many? This equals X.
- How many flagpoles are at the memorial south of the cache? This equals Y.
- How many owls are on the post with the squirrels.? This equals Z.
The XYZ checksum (total of the digits) is 10.
Now for the math part Y + Z = A, X + Y = B, Y - Z = C, X - Z = D

The final coordinates are a short walk away, and I do mean a short walk. You are welcome to take some time to enjoy this delightful park. It's a perfect place to stop on the way to or from the coast.
There's a playground for kids, restrooms, exercise circuit, picnic tables, and more. Enjoy the memorial to Raymond Carver (famed writer of short stories and poems, born here), the Liberty Tree, and wood carvings by artist Susan Miller, who also did the carvings for the Clatskanie Library across the street.
Across the bridge is more of the park, including a boat ramp, bike/skateboard park, and a memorial to Lewis and Clark.
