I like butterflies … always have. I remember my Mom putting a mason jar on the screened front porch to hold a cocoon. We watched it for days and finally a butterfly came out. That was over 60 years ago!
I don’t claim to know a lot about butterflies and this cache is not going to teach you anything scientific about the creatures. I just want you to remember the joy that comes in seeing these beautiful creatures flying around in your backyard as they search for food in the flowers and gardens. Please tell us your favorite butterfly story in your log.
And I think I know some “butterfly” geocachers too!! No doubt they will come looking for this cache asap!
Remember that the stamp and inkpad are NOT swag. Please leave them in place (enclosed in the plastic bag) to maintain the integrity of the cache. The cache is large enough to hold small travel bugs and coins.
At times there will be muggles present. Please be on the lookout for their presence and be stealthy grabbing the cache when they are around! Also … NO NIGHT CACHING!!
