Geocache Description:

BEWARE OF BIG GREEN!

So many cool things to see on Old Route 66 - But a Dino?!?

The giant green brontosaurus at the Grand Canyon Caverns on old Route 66 had a geocache placed back in '09. We couldn't really let it go extinct so we have used recombinant Geo and Dino-DNA and brought it back to life! Old container with swag, but a new cache # and log. No need to travel back in time or deep underground to grab this cache.

Old Route 66 is always fun to travel, so take your time and enjoy the many sites and caches along the Ol' Mother Road. This is a fun spot for the kids with multiple dinosaurs in Dinosaur City. Be sure to check out the Californian apatosaurus transplant nearby.  Travel up the road to the caverns. It's ok to park and hunt for the cache per the property manager. Just beware of muggles.

This cache is located on Arizona State Trust Land. The State Land Department has no problem with geocaching, but we ask that participants observe the following: A Recreation Permit is required to legally access State Trust Land. These permits are easily obtained by using the following link to obtain a permit application -  (https://azland.my.salesforce-sites.com/recreationalpermit/)
