I completed my Ontario Jasmer back on July 30th, 2022 and have since kept up with it the best that I could. Events here and there, new caches here and there, and of course, a lot of fun keeping up with the old caches! Now, the ontario jasmer challenge can't be published anymore due to a low number of caches in February, March, September, October, and November of 2001. The solution of course is to time travel and make sure they hid more caches more back then (duh!). Alternatively, a more boring solution is to work around the restrictions while still making an attempt to stay true to the jasmer challenge (hence the name, jazzmer!)
Your challenge (should you choose to accept it) is the following:
1. Find a cache in Ontario for every hidden month starting with December 2001 up until the current month (current month not included). This means you would need to find a cache in December of 2001, January of 2002, February of 2002, etc.
2. Find 22 caches (an average of 2 caches per hidden month that Ontario has) that were placed in 2001 in Ontario. These caches can be from any month in 2001, as long as the cache itself is in Ontario.
Notes:
- Any cache type will do for this challenge. At the time of publishing, Ontario has 52 active 2001 hides and 1 disabled cache. Of the 53 total, there are 50 traditionals, 2 virtuals (Hidden Channel, and Chimo), and 1 Multi (First Try). The caches are all very well spread across Ontario!
- If you have not met the requirements of this challenge, you may visit the cache, sign the log book and post a note on this page. When you have met requirements of this challenge, you may post a "Found It" log.
- Found logs that do not properly qualify will be deleted.
