Church Micro 2363...Feltham - St Dunstan
St Dunstan's Church, Feltham, forms part of the popular "Church Micro" series.

It is unknown exactly when this church was built but it is believed that the church was named after St. Dunstan after his death in 988.
The church itself was rebuilt in 1802 and was the centre of the old village. The village then expanded northwards and the population grew which is when it became necessary to construct Saint Catherine's Church, which was built in 1880 at the junction of Hanworth Road with Feltham High Street. It was called "chapel of ease" This church closed in 1975.
The churchyard is largely enclosed by high brick walls and has a number of 18th-century chest tombs and urn-topped monuments, with cedar, yew and holly among the churchyard trees.
