From GZ, there is an Eagle's nest just to the northwest of here in one of the taller trees. It's easier to see in late fall or winter when the leaves are down. If you time it right, you will hear them chattering from above. On this date of cache placement, the ground is happily covered by layers of maple leaves. A year ago, it was covered in refuse after being used as an encampment and dumping ground. With clean-up help from the City and the ongoing efforts of local volunteers, this forest is starting to look like a forest again. Welcome back geocachers, bird watchers and trail runners. Bring a pen to sign the log and replace the container as you found it, hidden from curious eyes.
