This event will be broken up into three parts.
1.) Christmas and Friends
This is optional you do not need to purchase a gift to come and celebrate with us. If you choose to buy a geocaching type gift – between 20 and 25 dollars – On your way to the event hide your gift with in 5 miles of the event. Write down the cords where your gift is hidden. Continue on to the event. Once at the event using your own bison tube or one I will provide, put on a piece of paper the cords for where your gift is located, your name and cell number (that way if someone has trouble finding their gift they can call you for help). If you choose to participate in the gift exchange bison tubes will be picked off the tree at the end of the event. That way as you leave you will be able to go find your gift on your way home or out caching in the area.
2.) Food and Friends
Everyone enjoys to eating. So part 2 of this event is fellowship over any food that is provided. I will provide plates, plastic ware and napkins. If anyone would like to provide other food or snacks you are welcome to do that. If you are planning on bringing something to eat please list what you are bringing in your “will attend” if you know so others can decide what they want to bring. Everyone likes to eat so bring something to share if you can. Even if you don’t bring a food item you can still eat with everyone else.
3.) Games and Friends
As everyone finishes filling their bellies we will move into the Games and Friends part of our event.
We will start this part of the event by breaking up into groups of four people. This will be your team for Geocaching Trivia. This is something new for this year. I hope everyone will participate and have fun.
If there is time after Trivia, I will provide different table games that I hope everyone will enjoy playing.
Last year the table games seemed to be a hit because I made them into geocaching games.
Now as we close up our event time. It is gift time. I will come around so that those who have participated (as was stated above this was optional) in the gift exchange and hid a gift on their way to the event - will now pick a bison tube - making sure it is not their own gift - and then may go and find their gift.
