Many years ago I rented the Pacific Coliseum for a nite of pickup hockey . It was great but expensive (at the time, about 20 years ago, it worked out to about $45 each) . We got to live out our dream of playing where the pros did & using their facilities. It was a fun fast game for the 1st hour then we got a short break while they resurfaced the ice. We even had about 7 fans so there was even some cheering then disaster struck. Jummi was in the timekeepers bench resetting the clock & Soapy was firing pucks at the glass , in front of Jimmi, as a joke. One puck hit just the right way & the glass shattered, showering Jimmi with it. The was glass everwhere, including the ice, but other than a few minor nicks he was OK but that was it for the nite as there wasn't staff on duty to replace it. We lost half our ice time but did have a great post skate bbqe in the parking lot. On the following Monday the PC staff called me , said they were sorry & gave us another 2 hour slot, free of charge. NICE.
Bring a pen & please be very very careful as this is very busy area (I will consider this with the difficulty)
