⛳ This is a 9 cache golf-themed trail which follows the public footpath next to the Harrogate Golf Club. They are fun, easy, quick caches which are perfect for children to find, but the trail is suitable for all ages! Appropriate footwear is definitely required as the fields can be very muddy at times.
📝 The route begins at cache 1, and parking is available there too. Please be courteous when parking and do not park on double yellows or in front of driveways. The route ends at The Mother Shipton's Inn in Knaresborough. Please do not use their parking if you are doing the route backwards. You must bring your own pen and tweezers.
⚠️ Please do not enter the golf course grounds. You are at risk of being hit by flying golf balls if you do this. No cache will require you to walk more than a couple meters from the path.
⚠️ Please take care when at the rail crossing. There is no cache between the kissing gates which surround the track.
💎 Bonus cache: There is a bonus cache to be found for the most dedicated hunters. Some caches will have a digit of the co-ordinates in or on the container. The bonus cache is located at N 54 0.ABB' W 1 30.CDE. This cache is nearest to Hole 1, so if you aren't a strong walker, we suggest driving to the bonus and getting it a different day. If you are some digits short but have found all the caches, feel free to message me for the co-ordinates.
