Geocache Description:

Challenge
Welcome to the 26-cache “Island Cache Challenge Series (ICCS)”. This is a challenge cache so the cache IS located at the posted coordinates. You may sign the log of the cache anytime, however you must meet the criteria indicated below before you can enter a "Found It" log.

The Island Cache Challenge Series (ICCS) series of caches encourage you to set and achieve fun goals as part of your Island geocaching adventures. There may be two versions of a challenge: one meant to challenge geocaching beginners and the other meant to challenge geocaching veterans.

The cache container and the hide is the same for all the caches - a winter friendly, hanging, small pill bottle. The difficulty rating on the cache page is for the challenge; the cache hide difficulty is a 2.5. Some of the roads are not maintained and will be muddy in the spring and after rain.

NOTE:

This is one in a series of Challenge Caches down Forestry Road. The grassy & dirt “road” is not maintained during the winter and will be wet, soft & muddy in the spring & after rain; it is best traveled with an off-road vehicle or ATV. It makes for a nice snowshoe or cross-country ski during the winter.

All containers are small & winter-friendly. With the appropriate vehicle & time of year, all but a few should be a park & grab. The Attributes are an average for this series.

Forestry Road connects with a series of ATV trails and the Evangeline ATV Club clubhouse. There are a number of caches populating the nearby trails.
