Almond Park
Almond Park is a lovely park tucked away in a quiet neighbourhood at the heart of the West side in Kitsilano. It has it all: a field, playground, wooded area, tennis court, trail, and a water fountain.

From a young age, I have loved this park. The spacious shrubs provide great hiding spots for kids playing hide-and-seek and the bench-lined trail is a great, short walk to take your dog on. Spread a blanket on the grass and sit a while; play some card games or observe the community and its people. Despite the park's inviting nature, be wary of hidden evils like dog poop hiding in plain sight, poisonous 'fly agaric' mushrooms that pop up in the fall, or worst of all, our devious cache. Perfectly camouflaged, our hand-painted cache is nestled comfortably in one of Almond's many nooks and crannies. Use stealth to avoid detection from the many park-goers, and kindly return it to its rightful home after you log your name and the date. There is no room for trackables in this container. BYOP
This is part one of a series I am hoping to make, placing geocaches at Vancouver Parks that are special to me and also happen to lack geocaches. It is also my very first geocache :)
