This cache is located in a lovely park where you can bring your children and dogs to play or you could come alone and watch the wind blow the trees and relax.
Originally a village called Twelfth Mile Stone, Bellville was established by proclamation in 1861 and named after Charles D. Bell, surveyor general of the Cape. It became a town in 1940 and a city in 1979. It is built on the slopes of the Tygerberg.
