It is time, once again, for the Geocaching International Film Festival, aka the GIFF, now in it's tenth year!
Since the beginning of the GIFF, the question has always been: "Is it pronounced Jiff or Ghiph"? The compromise to appease (or annoy) the folks in both camps, according to the folks at Caching in the NorthWest podcast, is "Guh-Jiff!"
Either way you say it, we want you to come join us at The Grand Cinema in Tacoma’s downtown to view the 2023 GIFF finalists on the large screen.
Doors will open at 12:00 Noon and we will start screening at 12:30.
Additionally, attending this event will earn your Geocaching profile the 2023 GIFF Souvenir!
Popcorn and the other theater grub will be available for purchase at the concession stand. Also, any donations to help offset the cost of renting the theatre will gladly be accepted.
This is an official WSGA event. Please bring your WSGA name badge for an extra giveaway at the conclusion of the film reel.
