At a relatively recent event, a fellow geocacher bemoaned the lack of "starter" types of geocaches in the Davis area. I thought about it, and decided that the area could use some beginner caches. With that in mind, I placed this cache at a location that has recently become available.
Experienced geocachers should find this easy. Novice geocachers might take a bit longer. This type of geocache is often called a flatpack. Open it carefully. After you have signed your geocaching name, please make sure that the cache is resealed, and replace it with the opening down. That will help it stay dry.
BYOP (Bring your own pen/pencil). The log is "rite in the rain" paper and should stand up to dampness.
