This new subdivision came to our attention when we were exploring new areas for lockdown walks and we have been enjoying watching the changes each time we choose to walk here.
Once complete the subdivision will contain between 1200 and 2000 new dwellings, a primary school, a neighbourhood centre, a café, cycleways, reserves, wetland areas and coastal walkways.
At the time of cache placement, the area is still under development. The primary school has been completed and now has students attending. The first dwellings have been completed and are occupied as well as some completed showhomes. There are a handful of existing dwellings that are inhabited on the main road as well. So, stealth will need to be applied. The area is also very busy with tradespeople during work hours during the construction process.
Another area has opened up for access, so time to place another cache. This area has no housing development at the time of cache placement, however the roads are complete and open (in fact they are perfect for our learner driver to practice on).
