This cache is placed in a spot popular with horse riders, as well as dog walkers and trail runners. Watch out for the sometimes smelly droppings on the pathways! This cache is just off the path hidden within the ivy which is wrapped around a tree. It is close to, but outside the boundary of the beautiful Glen of the Downs Nature reserve. It is a popular walking spot with locals and in autumn the colours are spectacular. If you look for all caches in the series you can visit the recently restored Octagon which has beautiful views as far as Wicklow Town.
