Lietuvos mokyklos - tai Lietuvos mokyklose veikiančių jaunųjų miško bičiulių naujas projektas, kurio tikslas – skatinti vaikų smalsumą, plėsti gamtos ir navigacijos žinias. Taip pat populiarinti geocaching žaidimą tarp mokinių ir mokytojų, išmokyti mokytojus pasinaudoti geocaching sistemos galimybėmis ugdymo procese.

Minima 1384 (įvyko mūšis su kryžiuočiais). 16 a. buvo dvaras ir kaimas. 1643 gavo turgaus ir prekymečių privilegiją (pakartota 1767). 1655 pastatyta bažnyčia. Nuo 1777 minima parapinė mokykla. 1817 Vandžiogala sudegė. 20 a. pirmoje pusėje buvo valsčiaus centras. 1941 ir 1949 sovietų okupacinė valdžia ištrėmė 23 Vandžiogalos gyventojus. Nacių Vokietijos okupacinės valdžios nurodymu 1941 07 09 Vandžiogaloje sušaudyta 34, 08 pabaigoje (ar 09 pradžioje) prie Babtų – 252 Vandžiogalos žydai. Sovietų okupacijos metais Vandžiogala buvo apylinkės centras, tarybinio ūkio centrinė gyvenvietė. 1968 prie jos prijungtas Vandžiogalos kaimas. 2002 patvirtintas miestelio herbas. 1833 buvo 183, 1897 – 655, 1923 – 976 (iš jų 50 dvare), 1959 – 749, 1970 – 609, 1979 – 862, 1989 – 978, 2001 – 946, 2011 –861 gyventojas.
