IT'S HAPPENING!!! I CAN'T BELIEVE IT'S HAPPENING!!
THE DEADPOOLIANS ARE TYING THE KNOT!!!
Well.... okay, in actuality, we will have already officially tied the knot by the time we host this event..... :)
However, since Geocaching has been such in integral part of our relationship and we have made so many awesome friends thanks to this amazing hobby, we wanted to have a mock wedding event and invite all our friends to attend!
There will be a wedding ceremony hosted at the infamous Aerojet gazebo, where qroject proposed. (See waypoints!)
My mother, OwlWeThereYet, will be officiating.
After the ceremony, the reception/after party will take place where the event icon for this is; at a neighboring park with plenty of benches and room to spread out.
****** You do not need to attend the ceremony in order to attend the reception and earn your smilie!!!*******
Since the gazebo is only accessible via biking or hiking 2.5 miles each way, attendance will not be required to add this smilie in your collection. However, reception attendance IS required! 😊🥰😊
Also optional is coming in costume! We will of course be dressed up, our garb will be Deadpool themed as well as wedding themed.
Our officiant, my mom, OwlWeThereYet, will be dressing up as her caching moniker implies: as an Owl!
If your geocaching name inspires you to dress in costume, we welcome you to do it!!
Recommended items: A bike! Sunscreen and Skeeter protectant. A camera!
If you haven't already solved and/or found the caches in our Aerojet Rocket Trail geoart, I encourage you to do so! This will be an excellent opportunity to grab even more smilies in this amazing South Florida vista! This is also part of the Florida Birding Trail, so binoculars are definitely warranted.
We sincerely hope to see you all there!! Marriage is something we have not entered lightly; It's a committment to each other to always give Maximum Effort in every situation, love hard, forgive fast, smile often.
