I could've called this "The Things You Can Find in the Woods v2.0" but figured I own enough cache series.
This should be a nice walk to Stage 1, if you choose the correct trail the first time.
Once at Stage 1, you'll find something that really doesn't belong along a trail in the woods. Actually, two somethings. I'll let you guess why they're there.
When you're ready to find the cache, look over your left shoulder and you'll see something else that really doesn't belong in these woods. Your job is to find a piece of metal, not with the main object, but about five feet away. Stamped onto this piece is a word and 4 digits. Enter this phrase (minus the umlout) (and no space) into the checker that I've provided (with the space and hyphens) and you'll be rewarded with the coordinates to the cache at Stage 2 (expample "word1-2-3-4")
You can validate your puzzle solution with
certitude.
I found my gps to be very bouncy in this part of the park. I tried my best with the coordinates, averaging a few different readings.
Please abide by park rules: no caching after sunset or before sunrise. These trails are heavily used by mountain bikers, dog walkers, and some runners. Please be on the lookout for them.
