This is part of a 5-cache series, located on the Coastal Science Campus of UC Santa Cruz. The 5 caches are themed around larval fish ecology. Pick up a geocache "passport" at the front desk of the Seymour Marine Discovery Center (100 McAllister Way). If you locate all 5 caches, you can turn in your passport to the front desk for a commemorative wooden token! Have fun learning about baby fishes!
Note that the Seymour Center is closed on Mondays. We are open 10 AM-4PM Tuesday-Sundays. All parking lots are enforced by ParkMobile/UC Santa Cruz -- parking is enforced 8AM-5 PM Monday-Friday; parking is free on weekends and in Lot 207 at the entrance to the Coastal Science Campus
The fourth geocache is located near the entrance of the Coastal Science Campus. Walk north towards the entrance. On the northside of the road just before you reach the campus map, you will see an intepretive sign titled “Ocean Shore Railroad”. Please stay on designated paths and avoid trampling the coastal prairie plants.
