IL FUNGO
Vi trovate in questo momento nei "giardini del Fungo", così amichevolmente e affettuosamente chiamati dagli abitanti della circostante zona Parella. Essi sono un luogo di ritrovo e di ricordi di infanzia per molti abitanti di questo quartiere di Torino e prendono il nome dalla curiosa e appariscente costruzione che potete ammirare, appunto, a forma di fungo: si tratta di un silos d'acquedotto, costruito negli anni Sessanta del secolo scorso. Per quanto la sua estetica possa piacere o meno, il Fungo è un simbolo della Borgata Parella, utile da sempre per orientarsi e riconoscere il quartiere anche da lontano.
Trattandosi di un'area spesso non molto pulita ho cercato di scegliere una posizione quanto più libera da eventuali sporcizie, mi scuso se così non dovesse essere. Nel caso provvederò a un posizionamento più consono. Vi prego di usare cautela dato che la zona è molto frequentata, soprattutto di giorno e di rimettere come trovato.

You are currently in the "Mushroom Gardens", so friendly and affectionately called by the inhabitants of the surrounding Parella neighborhood. These are a meeting place and childhood memories for many inhabitants of this district of Turin and take their name from the curious and eye-catching mushroom-shaped construction that you can admire: it is an aqueduct silo, built in sixties of the last century. However much you may or may not like its aesthetics, the Mushroom is a symbol of the Borgata Parella, always useful for orienting yourself and recognizing the neighborhood even from afar.
Since this is an area that is often not very clean, I tried to choose a position as free from any dirt as possible, I apologize if this is not the case. In this case I will provide a more suitable positioning. Please use caution as the area is very busy, especially during the day and leave as found.
