I drive by the location several times a month and thought it would be perfect for a geocache but what to name the cache? I floated several names before passing a jogger running up the hill that the name came to me.
Kate Bush originally released Running Up That Hill as the lead single for the album Hounds of Love on August 5, 1985. It reached number 30 on the Billboard Hot 100.
I first heard Running Up That Hill in 2019 when it covered by Meg Myers and became a big hit for her; reaching number 1 on both Billboard Rock Airplay and Alternative charts in January of 2020. I didn't hear the original Kate Bush verison until 2022 when it reentered the cultural zeitgeist through the tv show Stranger Things. The song subsequently entered the charts again and this time reached number 3 on the Billboard Hot 100. Kate Bush's highest chart perfromance in the US.
