Did you know there is a meaning to the first part of Idaho license plates? The letter represents the first letter of the county’s name and the number shows, numerically, the alphabetical order of the counties.
There are 44 counties in the state of Idaho and two of them start with the letter 'A.' So 1A is Ada County and 2A is Adams County, and so on. 6 Idaho counties (Elmore, Idaho, Kootenai, Nez Perce, Shoshone, Valley, Washington) are the only counties that start with that letter, so there is no number in front of the letter
Log only so bring your own writing stick. Please do not feel invited to change the hiding of the cache. With 44 of these to maintain it needs to be kept simple and consistent.
