The day after Black Friday?
Smashy Saturday!
Or, more simply, Smashurday!
Nope, don't mean SMASHed potatoes. Though those would be good for breakfast. Or lunch. Or dinner... Before you dive into today's post-Turkey Day leftovers, shopping, decorating for the winter holidays, etc., come here to meet up with other cachers and be thankful together for geocaching :) Hopefully you won't have frost on the car by this hour even if we get a cold Turkey Week.
Use this Smashy event to clean up the house/garage a bit after Turkey Day and before the next round of parties/visitors/holidays. How? Bring your dry, clean, empty GLASS recyclables to throw into the purple bins here. Smashy fun!
Bring trackables to share or have discovered. Wearing turkey/winter holiday gear is welcome but optional.
Make that immediate left as you come into the lot from the light or you'll have to turn around.
Guests, mini-cachers, friends, neighbors, muggle buddies, and dogs welcome, but watch paws/feet in the glassy area and in the grass near it. There are shards on the ground there from folks who missed.
Outdoors; no cover, so dress for any weather (or do the car thing). There is a port-a-potty onsite. There is a shopping center across the road with various food options and a gas station should you need to refuel. Multiple caches nearby, including my Thanksgiving puzzle from a previous year (Doggo Walking: Leftovers).

^^ Despite the image tag, the actual recycling is in the purple bins, not the white sand-storage area.
Wheelchair accessible!
Even though this is outdoors, please skip it if you might be actively contagious with COVID, the flu, etc. Get well and we'd love to see you at the next one. Thanks.
