Access Information
This cache is 2WD accessible. Access is via Mulji Road (unsealed) from the Koorda-Kulja Road (sealed). The access track from the Mulji Road is unsealed and is also not suitable for caravans or towing vehicles as there is no turning loop on the track.
General Information
The Koorda Nature Reserve is located a short drive from the Koorda town centre. The Reserve is host to a free campsite with easy access for all campers including large caravans. Site has a drop toilet, picnic table, and is pet friendly. Koorda Nature Reserve is famous for its native flowers. The small red Darwinia Rosea, which is plentiful in the area, and is commonly called the "Koorda Rose" is now being featured in many town gardens. Probably another fifty to sixty species can readily be found during their flowering periods, most particularly between July and October.
Cache Information
This cache is a 100mm PVC container with painted camouflage. The cache included toy swaps for the kids, a pen and a logbook at time of placement. There is room for trackables in this cache.
