Following Storm Babet and a couple of weeks of easterly winds the sea has thrown up lots of debris at Little Ferry.
Much of it is nylon of various sizes used in the fishing industry.
Why not come along and spend some time clearing the beach at this wonderful National Nature Reserve?
Come for as long as you are able...the full hour is not necessary to claim a smilie.
I expect that whilst clearing we will see seals and plenty of birdlife.
I will provide the rubbish bags but you might want to bring gloves/litter pickers or anything else you think might be useful.
Bear in mind that this is a tidal and exposed area. The weather will be changeable.
Meet in the car park nearest to the Ferry jetty and if you arrive and find no one there come onto the shoreline and at least two of us will be picking!
