I like it here. Where is here? HERE! This spot, this town, this state!
I hid this cache at twilight and the closest tree still had colorful leaves, the highway sign below was illuminated, and there was a perfect blend of serene parking lot behind me and frenzied traffic hurrying to enter and exit the freeway below. Even though this spot has a mediocre view, there's plenty to see here.
I've driven past Morgantown many times but haven't taken the time to explore the city before this weekend. There was a lot I didn't get to see of the town, but I liked the sights I saw here.
West Virginia is now one of my favorite states to visit. The scenery is beautiful year round and the people are some of the friendliest and most polite I've ever met. That's sufficient reason for me to like it here.
