Geocache Description:

I am johnpoontf, a new cacher who's made Tai Kok Tsui his home. After unearthing nearly a hundred caches, my enthusiasm has grown, pushing me to contribute more to my community. Taking the initiative, I'm proud to introduce the Tai Kok Tsui Series. This district, which bridges the dynamic areas of Sham Shui Po, Mong Kok, and Yau Ma Tei, has a compelling history. Once a pier, its reclaimed lands now bustle with residential life. As geocachers explore this series, they'll traverse an area that beautifully interweaves its storied past with its vibrant present.

The Kwan Tai Temple stands as a historical emblem, built in 1891 to honor Mo Tai (Kwan Tai), the revered God of War and Righteousness from the Three Kingdoms period. This temple, unique in Kowloon for worshipping Mo Tai as its main deity, showcases Lingnan architectural brilliance with its giant bell and altar, exemplifying exquisite craftsmanship from the era. Besides Mo Tai, the temple also venerates other deities like Man Cheong, Tai Sui, Kwun Yum, and Pau Kung, adding to its cultural richness. It's a hub of festivity, especially on the 13th day of the fifth lunar month and the 24th day of the sixth lunar month, celebrating the Mo Tai Festival with fervor.

Geocachers seeking the final cache in the Tai Kok Tsui Series should pay close attention to the logsheet of this cache for the hint to the "Tai Kok Tsui Finale". Please remember not to publish photos of the hint, as such logs will be deleted to maintain the challenge and surprise for future seekers.
