Beer O'Clock #18 - Emu Plains Event Cache

This cache has been archived.

EverestHigh: Time to Archive this Event.

14 Geocachers Attended.

A group of 5 geocachers went for a full day of caching before the Event, with 1 more joining in for the afternoon.

Several geocachers who live in the Bluies or Penrith area were able to Attend, who would not normally have been able to Attend Beer O'Clock Events located in the City or Inner-West.

It was a very hot day, so cool refreshments were very welcome. The BurgerHead Food Truck fed us well.

FTF for the Event was awarded to SurdiVisio who returned from being away at Newcastle, after attending the Deaf Games and holding a Geocaching Event up there, and made it to this Event which was his 700th Milestone cache.

Congratulations to SurdiVisio!!

This will be one of a series of Events planned to explore some of Sydney's growing number of Microbreweries and Craft Beer Pubs in the Inner West, Eastern Suburbs and The Rocks, maybe even venturing into The Shire, the North Shore, Northern Beaches, or any where Geocachers and geocaches can be found.

Mountain Culture Beer Co.

Mountain Culture, Emu Plains, is home to a 25-hec Brewhouse, at the foot of the Blue Mountains.

Their beers have fun names and come in eye-popping cans, many consider works of art.

You can sit under an umbrella, or head upstairs and watch the brewers at work.

Onsite food truck available serving handmade woodfired pizzas.

Come for a refreshing ale or just to catch up with geocaching friends.

Hope to see you there!
