This is number 42 in a series of caches that highlight the 50 Must See Places in the World……..according to a popular Australian Travel Show.
If we all agree with the list is another matter. Maybe a few of the 50 locations could be higher on the list, while some could be lower, however the list is the list.
And the question is, how many of the 50 have you visited?
AND NUMBER 42 IS………..BANAUE RICE TERRACES
The rice terraces on the island of Luzon in the Philippines are 2000 years old and an engineering feat rivalling the Pyramids and the Great Wall of China. If they were joined end to end, they would reach halfway around the globe.
THE CACHE LOCATION
The series is in the forest area, off the Midland Highway and just before Creswick. Turning off the at the RACV resort and then taking the first gravel road off to the right will put on the right track. Look for the cache…This Way to the 50 Must See Places…and all should be good.
2WD vehicles will have no issues on the roads in the area.
LOGGING
Generic logs are fine, however (on a voluntary basis of course) I hope you’ll get into spirit of the series, and when you log a find against each cache, include in your log any experiences /tips /suggestions for any of the locations you have visited.
HAVE YOU VISITED?
Another one to add to my list...
Have fun and enjoy your trip around these 50 Must See Places. I hope you’ll be a part of the adventure and add your comments to any of the 50 Must See Places that you have visited……
