This is another cache in the Song Titles series that cachingcronies started in 2017.  Mountain View, Arkansas, is known as the "Folk Music Capital of the World".  From the Ozark Folk Center to "Pickin' and Grinnin'" on the courthouse square, talented singers and musicians of all ages perform songs from many musical genres.

Gone Home was originally written by Bill Carlisle and first recorded around 1955. The song’s poignant lyrics and emotional resonance have made it a timeless classic in the realm of country and bluegrass music.  Ricky Skaggs was deeply moved by the emotional depth and universal themes of “Gone Home.” Recognizing its power to connect with audiences on a profound level, Skaggs chose to perform and record the song, adding his own unique interpretation to this already cherished piece of music.
