Carrying on the tradition for those who started it!
A quick little event at 1:00pm! We will be there on Monument Circle from 1:00pm-1:30pm. Please allow time for parking. Parking should be pretty easy as there's not that many cars downtown on Christmas Eve day. Also, allow time for walking from parking.
We will be meeting on the steps of Monument Circle (north side of the circle) for a Flashmob beginning at 1pm. with a meet and greet, and if we are lucky we can try to get a picture of us.
Just come on out in your geocaching gear or your Christmas gear and spead some holiday cheer. Group picture will be taken around 1:20pm. Depending on lighting, we may move over to the south side of the circle for the picture. But we are definitely starting on the north side! The circle is a cool place to go at Christmas as it is decorated for the season.
There are free parking spots in downtown Indy. You just need to know where to look. There's some near Lockerbie Square. There's some near the canal north of the playground. You could plan ahead, arrive early, and walk to the event from free parking. Closer to this event, most of the spots are ones you need to pay for. You can park on the street at a meter. Most street parking requires the parkmobile app to pay for your time in that spot. This method of parking is much cheaper than using any parking garage in the area. The cheapest parking garage I can find in the area is the mall parking lot, and it's $10 for the first two hours. Garage Address: 100 South Illinois Street.
