Geocache Description:

SURPRISE! This geo is first is a series dedicated to my partner. She is an amazing person, smart, super generous and kind. She got me into caching, and I wanted to do something special for her. This cache is technically the first in the series chronologically and has no specific meaning to us other than we talked about stopping here. But this is the cache where she will discover this little surprise :) all of the other caches are locations that have some special meaning to us, and there will be a funny story or memory in the description. Happy caching :))

KIKI'S CLUE FOR NEXT CACHE: We spend a lot of time in each other brains, but taking a nearly identical picture in the basement of this place was probably the first sign we'd be doing a lot of that :)

CLUE #1 for everyone else: The next cache is located near a historic national landmark. Designed by noted architech Thomas Lamb and build in 1929 on the grounds of the old Columbus City Hall, this building was almost demolished in 1969. The local community rallied together and raised money to purchase an option for more time to find more funds to restore the building. The Columbus Association for the Performing Arts used the popularity of this location to convince business owners and policiticians to invest in saving the site. By the end of 1969, the location played host to a number of musical acts including The Grateful Dead, Frank Zappa, and Alice Cooper. The location eventually became the permanent home of the Columbus Symphony Orchestra.
