The wetland park area immediately south of the cache has recently opened and is a popular getaway from the dense Xiangxue area nearby. The landscaping all around has also been upgraded over the last year.
The formerly dark, dank and difficult-to-traverse underpass is now a bit less dark, much less dank, and quite convenient to cross by bike. A fatal flaw of some blueways and greenways is they get cut off at some points, usually major roadways, but this blueway finds a way.
