"The industry grew in Rockingham, so much that in the 1950s, the county adopted the moniker, “Turkey Capital of the World.” Enter the locality on Route 11 from the north or south and you'll see beautiful bronze statues of turkeys that were erected in the 1950s."information is from vaco.org

On the Rockingham County side of the Border. This cache is to welcome you to Rockingham County and give travelers a little information about the County and why there's a large broze turkey standing century  here. This is a micro cache so bring a pen!
