El Lugar
Humahuaca es una encantadora localidad situada en la Provincia de Jujuy, Argentina. Se encuentra a lo largo de la RN9, al norte de San Salvador de Jujuy, a una altitud de 2939 metros. Fue uno de los centros comerciales coloniales más importantes del antiguo camino al Alto Perú hasta finales del siglo XIX.
Este pintoresco pueblo está adornado con calles angostas y empedradas, y casas bajas de adobe, conservando su fisonomía histórica. Con una población de alrededor de 10,256 habitantes, Humahuaca es el mayor asentamiento entre Jujuy y la frontera con Bolivia.
La ciudad es conocida por su rica historia y patrimonio cultural. Fue fundada en 1594 y ha sido un lugar estratégico a lo largo de los siglos. En reconocimiento a su valor cultural e histórico, Humahuaca fue declarada Patrimonio de la Humanidad por la UNESCO en 2003.

When to search for the cache
In Argentina the Geocaching is not yet a game as popular as in other countries, and is common that geomuggles steal caches just for fun. So, please search and pick up the cache when no one is looking, and later leave the cache the same way and well hidden, sure that it is not visible from any angle!!!! Always try to pass unnoticed.
What are the rules in Geocaching?
1. If you take something from the cache, leave something of equal or greater value.
2. Write about your find in the cache logbook.
3. Log your experience at www.geocaching.com.
