Situated in the northwest region of Kuala Lumpur, the Sungai Buloh KTM and MRT station (PY04) is a prominent Keretapi Tanah Melayu (KTM) Tanjung Malim - Perlabuhan Klang Komuter line and RAPIDKL Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) Putrajaya Line.
The station is conveniently positioned along Jalan Kuala Selangor, in close proximity to the Sungai Buloh Hospital (1.4km) and residential area of Bukit Rahman Putra, Sunway Putra, Sierramas and Valencia Golf Club.
Today, the main attraction of Sungai Buloh is its numerous nurseries selling plants of almost every kind known to horticulture, in addition to gardening materials and tools. A pleasant respite from the hustle and bustle of the city, this place used to be shun by city folks for being a refuge camp for leprosy patients in the sixties (Pusat Kusta Negara).
