This "ready for action" dog is a geoart consisting of 65 easy to solve (and mostly easy to find) puzzles, making it fun and easy for all levels of caching ability.
This geoart is dedicated to the geodogs in our lives. Some of us have them, some of us had them by our sides and at some point, all of us have probably cached with a four legged geo-friend. Thanks to everyone who contributed photos and stories of your geodogs.
The final locations will take you on a nice walk on some of Brantford's finest trails. Take your geodog with you, they will love it!
Geodog - Jake
Pawrent - Laval K-9
Jake de Dan was a purebred German Shepherd dog. Jake enjoyed doing agility and obedience. Jake got his CKC Companion Dog title and was also a Canadian Champion. Jake was always ready to play fetch with the grandkids. In the summer month Jake was my companion when I slept in our tent in the backyard.
Jake's favorite treats were pizza crust and mashed potatoes.
When Jake was young, we always had to keep an eye on him and never left pieces of clothing laying around since he chewed them and even swallowed them. Without us knowing he swallowed a man's pair of woolen gloves. My husband thought he lost them. How could we imagine Jake ate two gloves without being sick. He threw them up seven weeks after eating them.
Jake was born in March 2012 and left us in March 2023 just short of his 11th birthday. We miss him a lot and he will always have a special place in our hearts.
Now where would Jake's cache be hidden?
