This open space of Municipal ground used to have rest room facilities for the public. Unfortunately, it was taken over by homeless people and the Municipality decided to demolish it. Once the rubble had been cleared a team that has created many gardens and mosaic features in Gonubie to beautify the suburb set about creating a garden on the site. One of the features in the garden is an old boat that is surrounded by a wide boarder of stones. We decided to place a cache here to highlight another of the many beautiful features that have been lovingly created and maintained by volunteering residents.
