NOTE: BPP suffered significant damage from Hurricane Fiona & subsequent storm surge that eroded the cliffs along the Park’s hiking trail. Sections of the trail still remain to be cleared. Do Not venture too close to the cliffs on the water-side of the trail — there is unsafe, erosional undercutting of the soil. None of the cache placements present a hazard at this time.
This Park has been home to a number of caches over the years, most recently Shellie13’s (aka Kachenator) 4-cache Belmont Park Series. Since Shellie13 has moved off-Island, the Bootecacher Team has agreed to replace his series with a new one — the BPP (2024). All containers are small & winter-friendly.
Belmont Provincial Park (BPP) (click) is the smallest park in Western PEI. This beautiful park has a nice day-use area with limited playground equipment, and an unsupervised swimming beach on scenic Malpeque Bay.
