Geocache Description:

Welcome to the 12 Days of Cachemas!

Omaha-area cachers will place 12 caches all over the Omaha metro area, one on each day from December 13-24. You can expect a variety of types of hides and containers, and keep in mind that the caches will publish at different times of the day.
Some will be more challenging than others, but none will be higher than 2.5 in D or T.

Thank you to the COs who are volunteering their time and effort to make this a fun event for us all to enjoy!

Each cache will each contain an FTF prize in the shape of a Christmas ornament. If you get an FTF and collect the ornament and get another FTF on another day, you can decide to leave the ornament for the STF or take it for yourself. The spirit of Christmas says let another geocacher have the joy of an ornament.

Merry Cachemas to all, and to all a good find!

This cache is not found at posted coordinates. Solve the puzzle below to get the coordinates to the final cache. The location is available from 5:00 AM-11:00 PM, and on-street parking is available. While thorns and poisonous plants were not evident when this cache was placed, they may very well be around in the summer months.

I realize the song "Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer" might seem a bit off-color to some, but my Grandma Bea LOVED it. And since Dec. 13 was her birthday, and also the start of Cachemas, I decided to place a cache in her honor. She would have been thrilled! I'm starting this cache off with plenty of swag, because Beatrice would've loved that, too.

EDIT 2/9/24: I had to move the container, as one of the neighbors was upset about it being close to his yard. I have updated the puzzle and the checker. The container is slightly smaller than the original, but I'm not changing anything else on the cache page. If you solved before today's date, you'll need to re-solve. Happy hunting!

Use the Elmo & Patsy lyrics of the first stanza of the song to help you find the coordinates to the finale, which will be found at:

N 41° 12.ABC W 095° 59.BBB

A = [3, 4]

B = [2, 6]

C = [1, 6]
