Geocache Description:

This cache is partially named for the West Fork of the North Branch of the Chicago River. Being from a river town on the Mississippi, we StoryCacherz feel it is hilarious that this creek would be called a river. We naturally thought we would name our first series in its honour.

This cache is placed in the spot where we foud our first cache when we moved to the area just over a year ago. A couple months after we found it, it went missing--the cache fell inside the pole in which it is placed, and it may still be there. We tried to pull it out with various TotTs, but to no avail. The CO did not maintain it and Reviewer Smith finally archived it several months back,

We thought it was a travesty to not have a cache here, so here we are.

Have fun!
